We saw a little crack in the ice and naturally we wanted to make it bigger. We tried poking it with a stick. That worked a little. Then we dropped an ice hog on it. That worked better. (Ice Hog: small chunk of ice).
Soon, of course, the thrill of the ice hog crashes diminished. For maximum impact, we started collecting dozers. This was quite a bit more challenging than the collection of the much smaller ice hogs.
Then there was the dozer of all dozers. The pictures are a little blurry partly because we were losing the light but mostly because the photographer was laughing so hard she could not keep the camera steady.
I was doing some research for a course I am teaching in February and found this old favourite. In the early 80s, I worked in a repertory movie theatre and they used to show this little movie before the main feature.
