landfall at about 8 p.m. local time -- south coast of Ireland:
















an amazingly painless flight -- the plane was quite empty and we each had about 4 seats to ourselves which cheered everybody up. lots of people stretched out and slept. some felt so at home, they snored uproariously throughout their naps.
