I went for tea at a friend's
and met this little guy.









It snowed a bit while I was there.







But I made it home just fine.

By the afternoon it looked as though they were all finished. Here's hoping.

I met up with a friend who had just been in Austria and she brought me these fantastic treats.

The measuring spoons and the music floaty pen are lovely and straight forward enough.

But what is with the gift bag
and why does the chocolate bar
have a syringe on the wrapper?




According to Babel Fish,
schokolade hilft immer! means
chocolate always helps!

So perhaps that explains the syringe.



But I can think of nothing that explains this:





















(Unfortunately I accidentally sat on my bag and ripped it. I blame the Guinness.)

It looks (and sounds!) as though this guy is trying to remove the snow and ice with a leaf blower. But that cannot be right.

Saturday morning at 9:30
I awoke to find four men
five inches from my bedroom window.
Doing this.












And from the look of things at 4ish,
I guess they will be back.



This is the third time they have tried to get this roof right. We all hope it finally works.
