Park Baptist Church is around the corner from the house on the southwest corner of the beautiful Victoria Park square.
You walk north on Wellington, past the Central Presbyterian Church (on the south east corner of the square)
and the Brant County Courthouse, designed by John Turner in 1852 (at the east end of the square).
The square was designed and landscaped in 1861 by John Turner and is laid out in the pattern of the Union Jack (erk!). The Joseph Brant Memorial, sculpted by Percy Wood out of bronze and granite in 1886, sits in the centre of the square.
